WHOA ! Completed my research already . YEAH YEAH YEAH . But i still think there is something missing . But anyway, tomorrow is the first meeting for our PEQ presentation. My teammates Yin, ken and wei le. :DDD This time Ken will be the leader ( even though he doesn't want it ) because i cannot always be the leader of the team , sometimes we have to learn to step down and let others have a chance . Thats what Eileen Low told me before. Plus someone in the class ( rabies couple and bad hair day boy ) will not be happy for no reason . LOL !
So yeah, share with you all what i had been doing and learned. Above this thing that is so dirty that is called Fouling . Fouling occurs inside the heat exchanger because of the fluid that we are processing needs to be cool down or heat up for other uses and
particles we have to remove all these so that it will not damage other equipment in the rig. Therefore, sometimes the fluid that is passing through the heat exchanger can be dirty and have alot of soild ,orficles plates and baffles are used . These are the things that trap the impurities and stuff.
Fouling is something that we do not want because it may cause over heat in the heat exchanger and may cause problems . And we have to have maintenance periodically .

This time is LEE HONGKI from F.T Island . :DDD Well, actually i started looking out for him when i watched the Heechul and him and some other artist starring in this variety show on how to become a good father . He is so caring and sweet. :DDD
Then yesterday night i told yin about it . She say i siao already. Then she dont know who he is from leh . Then i told her he is from F.T island and he is the lead singer . She also like F.T Island only the songs but not them la. She got told me before F.T Island songs are nice but that time i am into SHINee and of course SUPER JUNIOR and didnt really think it will be nice. But yesterday night i search for their songs . WHAT KAO EH ! NICE LA ! Most of their songs are cute.

Alright, i am looking for their album soon if the teachers can stop torturing us with tons of test .
And i just showed Yong chang his picture and he say he very pretty he thought that he is a girl leh . HAHA.

The causes of fouling;
- Frequent use of the Heat Exchanger
- Not cleaning the Heat Exchanger regularly
- Reducing the velocity of the fluids moving through the heat exchanger
- Over-sizing of the heat exchanger
particles we have to remove all these so that it will not damage other equipment in the rig. Therefore, sometimes the fluid that is passing through the heat exchanger can be dirty and have alot of soild ,orficles plates and baffles are used . These are the things that trap the impurities and stuff.
Fouling reduces the cross sectional area for heat to be transferred and causes an increase in the resistance to heat transfer across the heat exchanger.
This is because the thermal conductivity of the fouling layer is low.
Therefore, it reduces the overall heat transfer coefficient and efficiency of the heat exchanger. That can lead to an increase in pumping and maintenance costs.
Fouling is something that we do not want because it may cause over heat in the heat exchanger and may cause problems . And we have to have maintenance periodically .
